Meditation has been hailed as the #1 Health Booster!
Mindfulness training is becoming the norm in business, sports, and healthcare around the world. Mindfulness training reduces stress and absenteeism, increases productivity, improves concentration, develops better leaders, and generates more creative workplaces. It also enhances cognitive thinking skills, improves coping with stressors, and improves health.
We offer the eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
The MBSR course has been featured in countless media segments and in hundreds of scientific journals. It is described in Dr. Kabat-Zinn's best selling book Full Catastrophe Living, in Bill Moyer's PBS special Healing and the Mind, and in the CBS 60 Minutes' Anderson Cooper Special.
Physicians refer individuals to the MBSR course because it has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, improve coping with chronic illness and pain, improve health, and increase a sense of well-being.
Research shows that physicians, mental health care providers, and other health care providers who complete the course have an increased sense of well-being, reduced rates of burn-out, and improved communication with patients.
At the free session you will meet the instructor, learn about current research and get a first-hand experience in mindfulness meditation so that you can decide whether the course is right for you.

Over three decades of published research shows that people who completed the MBSR course reported lasting improvement in both physical and psychological symptoms from conditions such as:
